STEM students in grades 1-5 had a team Lego Challenge last week. As a team they had to pick one animal to build. Once they picked an animal they were allowed to pick ten Legos out of their basket. Using ONLY those ten Legos they had to construct the animal they chose as a team. They were not allowed to trade Legos or use more than ten. This took a lot of planning and teamwork and the results were amazing! We had giraffes, chickens, pelicans, hippos, rams, axolotls, etc. These students were very creative. After sharing what the team created they used what was left of their time to build homes for their animal.
