Mrs. Buckles' STEM classes are getting introduced to Strawbees this week. Strawbees is a complex problem solving, critical thinking, and creative confidence building program. Strawbees is a construction set used to build things that can stand, move, spin, glide, or even walk across the floor.
Platonic solids are the theme for this week. Platonic solids are very unique shapes. From all possible convex polyhedra, only five can be made with regular polygons as faces. There are many ways to prove there can’t be a sixth Platonic solid, one of them is trying it yourself!
