KSES students in STEM Lab learned a little history today. They read the story "The Carpenter's Gift". In the story they learned about the Rockerfeller Christmas tree in New York City and how once the tree is taken down it is used to build houses for Habitat for Humanity.
After reading the book, the students had a Lego challenge! Could they build a Christmas tree out of Legos and then disassemble their Christmas tree and use the Legos to build a house?
I think they did pretty good :)
