Kinder - 5th grade students in STEM Lab enjoyed participating in Hour of Code this week. The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week which was December 7th-13th. While our students enjoy code all year long, this week is especially fun because they dug deeper into just what coding is all about, when and how code is used, and they got to enjoy fun games and projects related to coding.
Some of the biggest hits this week were the new Virtual 3D Dash world. The students were in awe over "their" STEM Lab Dash robots making it into the virtual world, Grinch Coding Hour, and 5th graders got to make a Binary Coding Ornament after hearing the story Auntie Clause.
