Parachute STEM Challenge

Mrs. Bobbi Okesson's 6th graders had a STEM challenge today during their STEM elective to create a parachute that will gently drop their egg to the ground. Don't worry, we used plastic eggs so no messes were made! Students had a wide variety of materials they could use to construct their parachutes (paper bags, plastic bags, tissue, regular paper, and tissue paper). They also had tape, scissors, pipe-cleaners, and yarn. We had pretty interesting parachutes created.

Congratulations to Chance Gill, Kyler Prianti, Bryson Helms, and Mary Crum for creating the winning parachute!
